About ASMPython 1.1.0 and future updates
ASMPython 1.1.0 Nears Release
With feature development complete, we're entering the final stage before release. The remaining work is focused on fixing bugs, improving stability, and polishing the overall experience.
ASMPython 1.1.0 has reached the point where nearly every planned feature has been implemented. Over the coming weeks we'll be focusing on eliminating bugs, improving diagnostics, cleaning up APIs, expanding documentation, and ensuring everything is ready for a stable public release.
Feature Development
The planned features for 1.1.0 have been implemented and are now undergoing final testing.
Polish & Testing
Stability improvements, compiler diagnostics, documentation, and bug fixes remain our primary focus.

What's New in 1.1.0
Looking Beyond 1.1.0
RoadmapGraphics Made Simple
Version 1.2.0 will introduce a brand-new graphics library built around one goal: making graphics programming feel intuitive rather than tedious. The library will be designed to be easy enough for beginners while remaining powerful enough for advanced projects. It will also include support for freestanding graphics, enabling graphical applications in bare-metal environments.
Expanding Beyond x86
Looking further ahead, development will focus on bringing ASMPython to additional platforms. Planned work includes ARM architecture support, native macOS support, and broad compiler optimizations aimed at improving both build times and generated code performance. Depending on the scope of these changes, this milestone may become the project's 2.0.0 release.
While roadmaps are always subject to change, our immediate priority is delivering a stable, polished 1.1.0 release. Once it's in the hands of developers, we'll begin work on the next generation of ASMPython's graphics capabilities and platform support.
